Hi All, Can you believe it.......are you ready for April tomorrow? I sure can't wait.......the New Mini Catalogue goes live...............Whoopee!! So, there will be lots to show you.........I've been busy since my last posting; making projects to show at my launch day. I have a quick card to show you today, the inspiration came from Dannie Graves's blog It's using the Lap of Luxury DSP, Pretty in Pink and Basic Gray cardstock. The sentiment has been punched out with the extra large oval and backed with 2 scalloped ovals. Now.......must dash.......I've got to whittle down my enormous wish list, and see what I'm going to order tomorrow

Internet Breakdown!!

Hi All,

I'm so ecstatic, I didn't think I'd miss my computer at all........but now I realise how much I rely on it, (I promise I'm wading my way through all the emails, so be patient.....I will reply!!)

Over a week ago, hubbie pinched the camera for a job he was doing............what I want to know is......why can't I have a cupboard like that to keep all my craft in one place?!! (OK...I know we don't have the room, but I could do with adjustable shelves......'pretty please')

Any way I digress, I found the camera took the pics to find the Internet broken......spare parts just arrived in the mail this am. WHOO!!

This small scrapbook I made for my son, it's using the celebration papers and adhesive accent
package.

The photos have come out rather dark, so apologies.

Key words were stamped with the Schoolbook Serif Alphabet set, and then I sprinkled a few monsters around for good measure!

Thank you for visiting, I'll try and be back in a couple of days.........work's gonna get in the way, a slight inconvenience........but I've a few large bills which need paying!!

Stylishly Simple

Hi All,

This simple but effective design was from another training swap, the person didn't put her name on it, so unfortunately I can't give her credit

I have reduced the size to 9.5cm squared, but the words still fit nicely. It will no doubt be made in lots of different colours.........especially when a quick birthday card is needed!!

Swap Inspiration

Hi All,

I'm beginning to collect lots of small scraps of cardstock, and when I came across this card from my friend Maria; (she'd made a similar one to this for the training swap last week). Although it could be made from a one sheet wonder, I just knew it would be a great way to use up all my scrappy bits.

It was so easy to put together, I chose the colours from the colour chart and away I went!

Thank You

Hi All,

It's just a quick one today........I've got to a few jobs to get done, before the UPS man appears with my pre-order goodies............because then I won't feel guilty.........LOL!!

Here's my thank you card for anyone placing an order with me this month.

It's using a flower from 'Pocket Silhouettes' and the sentiment is from a level 2 hostess set called 'Cute by the Inch', all stamped in Night of Navy
Thanks for dropping by, happy crafting

Loads of Swaps!!

Hi All,

Here as promised are some of the gorgeous swaps I received from my team mates. 'THANK YOU' all so very much, I know a lot of time and effort has been used in making such a wonderful array of projects; they are now giving me inspiration for my own creations..........

.......and there's loads more from other demonstrators.

I must apologise if I swapped with you and you can't see your own swap, it's so hard to try and catch them all in a photo!

I really can't believe it was over a week ago we were having so much fun together..........how time flies!!
Be back soon, happy crafting

Training Swaps

Hi All,

This is the card I made for my general swap at the Fareham training last week. I cased myself; ('Thank You' card I made for orders in January), I just added the little heart and gem

For the 'Team Swap' I based the card on one of my last month's workshop.
A simple design which could be advanced for the more skilled crafter. I just love the 'Vintage Vogue' stamp set, and adore the richness of the Razzzleberry

Lastly, I decided to have a little fun with punching out, and made each team member a door hanger with an Easter theme as it is fast approaching

The heart shaped sweet treat cup hold about a dozen micro eggs and can be accessed through the perforations on the back of the card. It was so fun to create and really easy to put together

Crafting Fun!!

Hi All,

Well what a fabulous end to half-term I've had!!

I left Hubby in charge and I just got to go to Stamping Up's regional training in Fareham; meeting lots of 'like minded' people who just love to craft......stamp.......and generally have a great time swapping ideas!!

There are going to be some fabulous things ahead...........(which can't be seen till April).......so stay tuned!

Being part of the 'Stamping Up' family, is more than just crafting.
I belong to such a wonderful team and have made so many new friends; get togethers are a bonus, and always such fun.........of course.......we always make sure to craft in between the laughter!!
If you'd like to experience the friendship and support; then why not join the team and find out for yourself. Just drop me a line, I'd be happy to help.

Anyway.......back to business, I will show you the swaps I received from my other team members later in the week........but..........we are uploading them on our own 'downline blog' first, so I don't wish to spoil the surprise for those who couldn't make the training.

On Monday, I met up with some more of my 'Crafting Buddies' and we made some 'Vintage Vogue' cards in a collapsible box. The box came from Jenny's Extravaganza last year; it is such a great box to do, if you wish to send it through the post.

They are relatively simple cards, 9.5 cm x 9.5cm..........

.....with maybe a gem or two thrown in for that extra sparkle

This one maybe a tad trickier to do; it requires masking and the use of stamp-a-ma-jig

.......but I thought it was apt, as I've spent so much time crafting with friends this weekend!
'Thank You' for dropping by, happy crafting
