Anniversary Card

Hi All,

It was my Wedding Anniversary yesterday, and did I get whisked off for a wonderful day out, a lovely meal, lavished with chocolates or flowers...........

..............No!

Even the sun was shinning, birds were singing and it was lovely and warm; so what did I get upto.......standing on the bottom of the ladder so he could finish painting the outside of the house!

I wish I'd taken a photos, but here's the ones of the card I made him instead.
I've mounted some of the hearts on acetate to add extra dimension

Hope you've enjoyed, thanks for dropping by

Simple Card & Gift

Hi All,

I've finally got around to photographing some of the projects I've been making.
Here is a simple A5 card using the Oval Framelitis and Fun Flowers die. The main colours are Pacific Point, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight.
For the gift............I've tried to make it look like a book. The concertinaed sides allow it to have the height to incorporate 2 bars of chocolate.............it's great, the men in my household don't think crafting is cool........so my chocolate is safe!!
Thanks for looking, happy crafting

The Open Sea

Hi All,

I recently went to a SU training day and this is the swap I took along. Notice the framelits....in use again!
It uses all the stamps from The Open Sea stamp set. Sorry the photo is so poor.......but the colours in real life are Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze and Very Vanilla

I adapted the design, then changed the colours to Night of Navy, Bashful Blue and Whisper White for a local cub group to make at the end of the month

It's so nice to have a set to use when making 'male' cards.......don't you agree?

Thanks for looking, happy crafting

Bordering on Romance

Hi All,

Met up with my 'Buddies' again today. We made 3 cards all using the Bordering on Romance set from the 'mini'. Lots of colouring and cutting out...........such a perfect set to decoupage!

The first is plain and simple............embossed hearts..........help give depth, without being too intrusive. The flowers are raised making 3 layers before being topped with a pearl; so definitely not one for Royal Mail!

Today's ink colours used were: Riding Hood Red, Island Indigo, Pear Pizzazz, Blushing Bride and Daffodil Delight. (I wanted more subtle colours - than when colouring in using marker pens, so squeezed the ink pads and then picked up the colour from the lid using an aqua pen)

The one above used the new framelits, edgelits and different embossing folders.
The sentiment is from Create a Cupcake, (fingers crossed - let's hope this set makes it into the main catalogue in October!)

Lastly..................a fancy fold, with added bird and gorgeous pleated satin ribbon

Thanks for looking

'Old' Meets 'New'

Hi All,

I had a 60th card to make, so decided to use a 'New' stamp set called Bordering on Romance with the retired colour Orchid Opulence.

This is fast becoming one of my favourite stamp sets from the Mini. It is so easy to colour, cut around and layer up (especially if you're not having to post it!). I've teamed it up with the 'New' framelits another must have for my 'Big Shot' collection.............I'm sure you're going to see alot more of these too!!

Simple.........but effective, don't you think?

Thanks for popping by
