Same Set - Altered

Hi All,

I don't know about you..............but sometimes, I find it hard to think of making the most from a stamp set.
so I chose 'Love and Sympathy' as an example

First using it in a classic style; with River Rock, Always Artichoke and Very Vanilla. I stamped the front sentiment with a slight shadow in the lighter colour to help give more depth (sorry the photo isn't showing this)

Next, I used the same flower but added Cherry Cobbler as extra colour. The flower image was created by using the marker pens to ink up the stamp. It's still stamped onto Very Vanilla card stock, but I brayered So Saffron around the image to soften the edges

Then layered it onto only a small piece of Artichoke in one corner, adding ribbon and brads.

A totally different feel, don't you think?

Thanks for looking

Flower Punches

Hi All,

This card was made for a friend to give to her Mum; using the 'Big Shot' and several punches.
The chosen colour combo was Concord Crush, Whisper White and Daffodil Delight with leaves in Old Olive.

I used the Framelits Die to cut out an aperture on the front of the card, so that the silver embossed sentiment could show through............simple but effective, don't you think?

Thanks for dropping by, happy crafting

'Happy Birthday' Kathey

Hi All,

Sorry I've been missing.........firstly my computer broke.......then my FIL decided to fly out of the back door a couple of weeks ago and badly fractured his humerus/ shoulder joint.........so not a lot of crafting has taken place!

Anyway.......today is my friends birthday and this is the card I made her. There's not a lot of stamping, but as you see I've been playing with my 'Big Shot' and punches.

Thanks for looking,
