Brayering

Hi all,

I'd like to thank JO for a fab time on Thursday, it was great to catch up with her again and she showed me how she'd created gorgeous effects using the brayer and only one colour tone. (Click on her name and you can nip over to her blog to have a peak
at the wonderful things she creates).

These were my attempts - some of the flowers and the brayering were all in the same colour, then a few other flowers were added in a darker colour. They're not as good as Jo's - by a long shot, but I enjoyed it so much, I've been experimenting!

I just love watching sunsets - but, I'm not sure whether my attempts are depicting the sun rising, or setting - LOL!! What do you think?
As you can see I started off by introducing a couple of colours...........and then got carried away!!

I just had to use the new birdie punch and gorgeous chocolate ribbon.
Hope you've enjoyed,
Jane x

  2. Wow whee jane they really are lovely, I've wanted to try these backgrounds out for some time as I have several cards in mind but never seem to have the time for experimenting. That's one of the reasons I go to Jenny's classes as she has some brilliant ideas. Once again, well done.See you tuesday.
