Hi All,
Earlier in the week, I met up with my 'Crafting Buddies'..........(or if your Avis and Pam's kids, the 'Rehab Group'!!).......all I can say is, we have a lot of fun and laughter on our Monday mornings.
This is what we produced, a delightful mini scrapbook.
It is 4" high and the three main pages inside, are all created from one piece of 12" x 12" cardstock. The colours were taken from the 'Elegant Soiree' DSP: Baja Breeze, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla and Basic Gray. The stamp set is 'Always Elegant' and complimented by the 'Elegance' wheel.

Paper Roses
Hi All,
Today, I've been playing again.............and getting covered in glue!!
A couple of days ago I came across a tutorial on how to make these tiny roses; I only wish I could find it again, so I could acknowledge them.........but I've spent 2 hours looking through my blog land list and still can't find it's hiding place!! (Note to self: I must write down great ideas and keep them in a safe place.........well safer than my head that is.......LOL!!)
They are made using the scalloped circle and 1 3/8" circle punch. I did change the final step, I believe they mounted their scrolled card onto one of the Boho Blossom flowers, but I changed it to the leaf from the Bird punch. Which ever way I tried it...........I still got covered in glue, so be warned!!

This is a very simple and straight forward card using the leaves from 'I Believe'; the idea came from Me, My Stamps and I
I've left a small space on the right for a simple greeting.
The 3 stamps used, are each from a different set of stamps in the Sale-A-Bration Promotion, (it runs until 28th Feb. If you are interested in earning free stamp sets, please contact me)
The shimmery vase is made by chopping the bottom off the Ornament Punch, and glazed using 'Glossy Accents' glue.
Thanks for stopping by

Happy Birthday Sis!
Hi All,
It's my sister's birthday today and here's the gift I've created for her.
Last year she decided to start growing her own vegetables in pots around the garden, so thinking along those lines this is what I came up with.
The basket contains packs of seeds, oak name tags, a journal (using the 'Bind-it-All) to write down her garden notes.......I stamped various images on the pages, throughout the book. The coffee mug holds chocolate for when she needs a break!

I'm so sorry.........I can't remember the people who created the basket and mug templates to give them credit, they are in blog land somewhere!!
Happy birthday to anyone who is also celebrating today.........'till the next time, happy crafting

Monster Mayhem!
Hi All,
O.M.G!!
I'm getting better at this blogging lark.........I've managed to keep a promise.......and finally got around to photographing the altered item I told you about, a few days ago!!
This is how it started out............
I really do think my youngest has grown out of 'Noddy'.......(he's 13!!)......and I've been planning on changing the clock for a while; but just didn't know what to do...........until I received 'Make A Monster for Christmas'.

He had great fun in designing some of the monsters himself. (It's always such a bonus when the kids want to craft.......'cos I don't feel guilty then.....LOL!!)
I stuck to primary colours, so to match the outside rim of the clock. The numbers are stamped using the' Schoolbook Serif Numbers 'set and highlighted with a white gel pen. (Thanks Val for the loan........I know your hubbie enjoyed watching the football in peace........when you just had to drop the set over to me....LOL!!)
Here's some of the monsters close up.............
I decided to make a sort of 'planet' to cover up the bare centre.

To add craters, I punched holes in a circular piece of card with the crop-o-dile; then just rubbed different coloured chalks over the top to add dimension.
For anyone who knows my son (especially when younger).........he often seemed to be in a world of his own.......we always used to refer to it as 'Peter's Planet'.........not sure these beings lived on it though...........LOL!!

January Thank You's
Hi All,
Just a quickie.........as I'm due to leave for work soon.
This is the 'thank you' card for everyone who places orders with me this month
It's using one of the individual stamps that can be found at the back of the current catalogue; page 112 (So Many Thanks)
It is so easy to ink up in different colours, when using the Stampin' Write Markers.........why don't you give it a go; some of the markers can now be bought individually too.

Sweet Summer
Hi All,
Wow......can you believe it 3 times in a day!
I finally got around to photographing one of the Sale-A-Bration sets I've been playing with today. It's called Sweet Summer, and since Christmas is over, I decided to choose more summery colours............
I just love the little bee that comes with this set; so I made a hive to accommodate small cards, envelopes and gift tags.
I have so many birthdays in February that I thought it would be good to have matching tags...........I'm also trying to get ahead, I'm sure the plan won't last.....LOL!

Hi All,
Sorry I've not been posting lately, mixed fortunes for the New Year.
Hassles with the car's suspension over the holiday period had me running around in a very rattly Nissan Micra, but at least I could get from A to B and to work!
The sudden death of my Godfather, came as a bit of a shock.
He had many interests and was an active member of the community.
I will remember him with fondness, always cheerful, smiling and a wonderful chuckle.
.........And me, I'm finely feeling better, although I still have a persistent and annoying cough........I now feel like crafting, so things are looking up.........I'll try and pop back later with a project...........'till then
