Fancy Folds

Hi All,

Today I'm meeting with my 'Buddies' again..........they wanted me to come up with a few fancy fold cards and even gave me a variety of stamp sets to use...........I must remember to to stick to one stamp set in future..............less to lug about......LOL!!
I've chosen one colour scheme though Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive and used some much loved and cherish retired papers.

The 1st card is a flip or twist card using Nature's Walk..............it's basic stamping with a masking technique and spritzing effect. This is probably my favourite one of the 3..........what do you think?

The 2nd is a shadow box card using flight of the butterfly, pocket silhouettes and the Sanded background stamp. The butterflies have been embossed with clear embossing powder (although it's not showing up very well in the photo)

And lastly, an explosion or centre diamond card. Stamped with Simply Said and decorated with butterflies (Beautiful Wings embosslits die)

Thanks for dropping on by, I'm off to meet my 'Buddies' now

Cheerio

Golden Wedding Card

Hi All,

No, it's not for me.........I'm not that old...........only feel like it sometimes..........LOL!!
A friend asked, if I had any ideas and this is what I came up with.

The colour combo I used was More Mustard and Cajun Craze. I used the 'Vintage Vogue' set and stamped the flowers in Versa Mark before embossing in gold.

Thank you for dropping in today,

That can't be bad, can it?
To take advantage of this special offer, you just have to host a workshop between now and 31st July; if product sales total £250 or more, you'll receive an extra £20, plus your normal benefits to spend on anything in the current catalogue.

It's a fabulous way to spend an enjoyable evening, crafting and chatting with family and friends, whilst taking advantage of shortening your wish list!

Addictive? -You Decide!

Hi All,

For the last couple of weeks, I've been busy working on a project with Jill.........I can't reveal anything till next month, as it may spoil the surprise..........but it did involve Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake and Vanilla. In fact they've become a very addictive colour combo!

Jenny runs a challenge for her team every month and this one, was to create a 'fancy fold' card. I followed my addiction.............came up with a pyramid card, then added a pillow gift box.

I used a different textured embossing folder on each side of the pyramid........

.........and then decorated it with 'bling' to co-ordinate.

Hubby's B'day

Hi All,

Here's the card I hastily threw together this morning!!

Fortunately he's into his bikes..........but, not Harley's, (never mind, small detail). I decided to stamp the bike image a few times and then just punched out various sections, so that I could just piece it all back together :)

By embossing the background it just gave added texture.

Hope you've enjoyed, must go........off to work:(; won't even have time for cake!!

May's Thank You's

Hi All,

Where has April gone?............the boys were hardly at school!
Oh well, as it's May..........here's my thank you card design, for anyone who order's from me this month.

Very simple, quick and easy to do (as time is a factor at the mo!) I used the Vintage wallpaper embossing folder on Daffodil Delight DSP, which I teamed up with Real Real cardstock and ribbon

The greeting is from the Perfect Punches set, which I punched out with various oval punches.

I'll be back tomorrow, to show you what I've been up to with my 'Buddies'
